Open Positions
Postdoctoral Position - Computational
Our lab is developing novel approaches for the identification of risk genes for neuropsychiatric disorders, and we are initiating a genetic study to investigate how variation within the “dark matter” of the genome contributes to risk for human disease.
Postdoctoral Position - Statistical Genetics
Our lab is compiling large datasets of whole genomes, exomes and detailed clinical phenotypes on ASD families. The goal of this study is to understand how the combined effects of rare variants (SVs, SNPs, indels and STRs) and common polygenic risk influence behavioral traits and determine risk for ASD.
Staff – Statistical Genetics Data Analyst III
Under the direction of the PI, the Analyst will carry out statistical genetic analyses of large well-powered datasets from the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium, the Genes 2 Mental Health Network, the UK Biobank and the PsychEncode project. The Analyst will perform moderately to highly complex analysis of gene-trait relationships, functional characterization of genes, and will support multi-omics analysis of functional genomic data (RNA Sequencing, Ribosome profiling, Hi-C).
Staff – Genomics Research Associate II
Under supervision of the PI and senior laboratory members, the Research Associate will assist in human genetic research projects aimed at identification of genes responsible for psychiatric disorders such as autism and schizophrenia.
